I figured that there are other people who might want to know, too, since I’m sure I am not the only person like me out there. And, since I am the sort of person to dig up obscure research just to satisfy my own curiosity about any sort of question, I figured I could write up my research for you to read.
My educational background is in political science (BA) and business (MBA), and I am a professional genealogist. The research skills that I have picked up along the way help me find just the right old original sources to find the origins of New York’s street names.
